Believing that AIDA has a social obligation to treat personal information appropriately in its business activities, we have established the following policy regarding the protection of personal information. We will use this page to notify the public of any revisions that are made to this policy.

1. Compliance with Relevant Laws and Guidelines Regarding the Proper Treatment of Personal Information

AIDA will treat personal information properly in accordance with Japan's Personal Information Protection Law and other laws and regulations, and also in accordance with the "Guidelines for the Protection of Personal Information" and other guidelines.

2. Comprehensive Safety Management Measures

To safely manage personal information, AIDA will take necessary and appropriate measures relating to internal management and supervision, employee education, and contractor supervision as it strives to prevent the leakage, loss, and/or compromising of personal information.

3. Principles Governing Our Treatment of Personal Information

1) Acquisition of Personal Information

When AIDA acquires personal information, AIDA will clearly state the usage purpose and acquire it only to the extent necessary by legal and fair means.

2) Treatment of Personal Information

(1) Usage Purpose

AIDA will not use the personal information acquired in accordance with the provisions of 1) above beyond the scope of the usage purpose without the direct consent of the customer. AIDA will use personal information it has acquired for the following purposes.
1. For sales-related notifications regarding AIDA and AIDA Group company products, services, and/or exhibition events.
2. For questionnaires relating to product planning & development or the further improvement of customer satisfaction, and for data analyses and statistical data creation, etc.
3. For performing business tasks, such as responding to customer inquiries and providing rapid service.
4. For compliance based on the provisions of laws and regulations or on guidance from administrative authorities.
5. Other usage purposes that were clearly specified at the time the personal information was acquired.

(2) Shared Usage

There may be occasions where AIDA will share your personal information in the following ways.
1. Personal Information Items Subject to Shared Usage: Your name, address, age, phone number, fax number, company name and job title, email address, product information, and customer discussion items
2. Scope of Shared Usage: Within the AIDA Group (domestic Japanese and overseas Group companies) and with product sales and service companies with contractual relationships with the AIDA Group

• * Some companies with shared usage may have a personal information protection system located in a country other than Japan and may not have the personal information protection systems required by Japan's Personal Information Protection Law.

3. Usage Purpose: To perform the usage purposes given in (1) above

(3) Disclosure to Outsourcing Entities

AIDA may subcontract the handling of acquired personal information of customers to a third party to the extent necessary to fulfill the usage purposes given in (1) above. In such cases, AIDA will appropriately supervise the subcontractor's handling of personal information.

(4) Disclosure to Third Parties

Except in the following cases, AIDA will not provide personal information acquired in accordance with the provisions of 1) above to a third party without the consent of the customer.
・When providing it to the entities listed above in (2) 'Scope of Shared Usage'
・When subcontracting its handling as explained above in (3). 'Disclosure to Subcontractors'
・When disclosing it at the time of business succession
・When asked to disclose it as required by law
・When it is necessary to protect life, limb, or property in cases where it would be difficult to obtain the person's consent
・When cooperating with the performance of tasks stipulated by the laws and regulations of national agencies, etc.

If you wish to disclose, correct, add or delete, suspend or delete, or block the disclosure of your personal information that is in the possession of AIDA in accordance with the procedures prescribed by AIDA, please contact AIDA's Privacy Policy Inquiry Desk (see below).
